Description
Chloe Brown is a chronically ill computer geek who, after a near-death experience, decides to "Get a Life" and creates a list of six directives. The first is completed: moving out of her family's mansion. The rest include having a drunken night out, riding a motorcycle, having meaningless sex, traveling, and doing something bad. Needing a teacher for rebellion, she enlists the help of her building's superintendent, Red Morgan. However, as they spend time together, Chloe learns more about Red—including why he resents her wealthy background and why he hides his art—discovering there's more to him than his rough exterior suggests. This romance explores chronic pain, familial relationships, and finding love.
